Ribs and music? Why not! This Sat, August 25th at Kiser Park in Oregon WI, the Lion's Club is having their first annual Thrilla On The Grilla! Come out and enjoy 10 ribs and 5 sides AND beverages from 5 local rib establishments for only $10.00!!! Seriously how can you beat that?
We are providing the entertainment for the rib fest so come eat and listen and help support the Lion's Club!
You can get your tickets at the park when you arrive or from me if you would like to know that you will for sure get your tickets. Call 852-6708 if you want me to hold them for you so you can pick them up at the park.

Wow, it is tough to keep up on a blog we are finding out but here we are again. Short announcement update...we are playing at Turner Hall in Madison (Off Hwy 51) on Sunday July 29th from 7:15-10:00 pm. There is a $5.00 cover which isn't bad for a night out. Come and dance the night away with the Back 40 and as always ....THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

New Faces at the Pour House!!
OMG!! We had a fantastic time at the Pour House last night! Thank you to all that were able to make it out to the "gig". We had the NKE teachers and fans, former librarians, former elementary teachers of mine table (seriously rowdy group!) my USTA tennis table (new followers), parent's/family table (faithful followers) and New faces tables all around! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
We played some of our standard classic country tunes along with rock n roll tunes that got people up and out of their seats. The dancers were shakin it up! Love that!!
All I can say is that when we are singin to the crowd, I am so grateful for friends and family. Without your support we couldn't do what we do.
We hope you enjoy the evenings out and hopefully we will see you again in the near future.

Cottage Grove VFW debut
Back 40 made their first appearance at the Cottage Grove VFW in Madison on Sunday the 31st of July. It was the fastest 4 hours of playing that we had ever experienced. Why you ask? SO MUCH FUN!!!! The crowd was awesome, we met new and exciting people who really appreciated the music. Thank you for that!
We are hoping your enthusiasm brings us back in the near future! Thanks again for your support, we hope to see you at our next gig!!

Pour House Party
Thank you all for coming out to the Pour House in Stoughton. We had a "HOT" time (smile) There was dancing, conversation, new and familiar faces. Hope you can come out again when we play whether it be at the Pour House or somewhere else. We appreciate your following and hope you appreciate our music.

DATE NIGHT RESULTS
We saw new faces, new dancers, new moves by Shelly K. and an overall new energy brought to the floor last night at the Stoughton VFW!
We want to thank everyone who could make it out last night. It was fun to play for a crowd that looked like they really enjoyed themselves.
Some of the highlights of the evening were dancing to Ring of Fire! Way to go NKE followers and OMS newbie! My mother galloping across the dance floor with Shelly K. and I was able to dance the last song with my dad! We almost witnessed a "wheelie chair" ride until the stink eye came out. Light up hats, bling and bedazzling lit up the floor, people were out to party!!
Our next gig is April 23rd at the Stoughton VFW from 7-10:30pm...hope you can make it out!
